About Us
We are Ken and Cheryl Jewhurst and we live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. We have been married and partnered for almost 36 years and own a beautiful but modest townhouse in Surrey. We have two cats who share our lives with us and have had no children.
We originally started out in Windsor, Ontario but over the years have managed to wander throughout Western Canada until finally settling in the Lower Mainland in 1991. I work as a financial administrator for a not for profit agency and love that my job goes towards performing noble deeds for at risk children and families. Ken was a successful business developer until recently when he was forced into early retirement due to disability.
That event is what has driven our need to become a presence on the internet and to developing this site. Not only will Ken go stark raving mad with nothing to do but he also needs to subsidize the family budget so that we can continue to live in the style that we have become accustomed to. OR just pay the bills even.
